Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Watch 5 series of smart watches in two standard and pro models. The standard model replaced the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Pro model also replaced the Classic Watch 4, so that those who like the classic model can have an alternative to buy. If you are interested in the world of wearable gadgets, especially smart watches, you know how enjoyable the experience of working with rotating frame of Galaxy Watch 4is. Samsung Watch 4 Classic vs Watch 5 Pro – Design & Build

The most obvious difference between the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and the Watch 5 Pro is their appearance. Exactly the same physical rotating bezel makes the older model completely distinguishable from the new model. Now the Watch 5 Pro has a fixed display and the user has to touch the screen to browse the user interface menu. But in Watch 4 Classic, navigation in the interface menu was done by turning the physical rotating bezel without touching the screen. Also, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is about 6 grams heavier than the Watch 5 Pro.

On the other hand, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has better build quality. The titanium case of this watch makes it more resistant to scratches and shocks than Watch 4 Classic, and in addition, thanks to the protective sapphire glass, its screen resistance is 60% higher than that of Watch 4 Classic, which is made of Gorilla Glass DX. It is used as a protective glass. Of course, we should also mention that the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic has been released in a model with a titanium body, which has a higher price than the regular models, but the Watch 5 Pro uses the same metal in all its models. Another advantage of the Watch 5 Pro is its use of the new D-Buckle strap instead of the Sport strap, which makes it much easier to adjust.

Samsung Watch 4 Classic vs Watch 5 Pro – Hardware & Features

In terms of hardware, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has one or two significant advantages that we should mention. Of course, at the very beginning, we must say that the chip is not included in this category at all, because both watches use the Exynos W920 with 5 nm lithography as the beating heart. This lack of upgrade is not considered a special problem at all because this chip is powerful enough to meet the needs of users as quickly as possible. RAM memory and internal memory have not changed compared to before and remain at 1.5 and 16 GB, which are more than enough.
